Your Life Choices When You Choose To Fall In love

Love saves lives but it can also take away one. So to those who wants to love and be loved in return, think again. It is not for the weakhearted. Depression is just one process that you must tackle when you get rejected or cheated. Remember that love may lift you up but it may also drop you down. Love may complete you, but it may also break you to pieces. So be strong at heart when you choose to fall in love and most importantly don’t forget to pick up yourself when you break down, get up when you fall, and don’t be afraid to Love again…wiser this time. Now, how to be wise in love? or in life? As a Proverb goes:


Stupid people always think they are right. Wise people listen to advice.


Sometimes we ask, why do they have to walk down that forbidden road when they were told not to. People who had been there made their stories known so others just have to absorb their experienced and does not necessarily need to go down that road. The forbidden road is a dead end... either you'll get lost out there and can't find your way back or you'll come back broken and burnt. But young people were too curious to just listen...they just have to go there to find out that it was indeed a trap...a dead end. You see, people get to choose their own path. Everyone around them gets to say things to influence their decision. They have the option to choose to listen to instruction but at the end they are the one who gets to decide for what they think is right. Most young people doesn't want their life decisions to be influenced. And that, sometimes, stupidity is being ignorant by choice. But wise people listens... and they understand. Wise mind doesn't have to wander on places where they already know what's in there. Their knowledge bring them protection.

Painful Break Up vs. Happy Break Up

I thought about this for some time. Why I felt no pain on my break up with my previous partner? there were no struggle, no regrets, just nothingness. In fact it was a happy break up. Months ago, I listened to my friend's story about her painful breakup with her boyfriend of 9 years. I knew the couple since from the start of their relationship. I wasn't expecting them to break up after all they've been through. I was expecting that they would get engage and get married. Infact, I was just waiting for their announcement because the last time we talked, she made a joke about them getting married soon. But that is not the story. This is about her pain and the processed she'd gone through compared to mine from my previous break-up. It was totally the opposite! As her friend, I can say I feel for her, I can relate somehow but only because I'm a woman too with emotions and had other other relationships before.
