Thank You Message to a Friend

Dear Friend,
I care for you even it seems like I don’t. I care for you even those times when we don’t communicate anymore, nor those times when we are busy with other people in our lives. I just know I care cause when things went badly for you, I just can’t ignore your call cause I know whenever you needed me, it also means that you have already called everyone else but still you're not okay. You know I can't turn away from you cause you only seldom seek for my help. When someone belittle you, it angers me. When you’re hurting, it makes me wanna hit somebody so I could uplift your feelings. And most of all, I made my mistakes in my life known to you so you don’t have to commit the same one that I’ve done. My advices for you were always sincere so you don’t have to go down that road, instead, just stay focus on the right path. You are one of the strong woman I've known, so when you ask of me, I answer. I'm here incase you know it not. I feel needed, I feel special...when you ask of me.

I know I care, but do you know why?
Well, I will tell you why. With your simple acts of kindness that you’ve shown me a long time ago,.. for being there, for backing me up on my bad times, I just knew you are a great person. I always look to it as a debt that I cannot repay with any thing from this world. Incase you've forgotten, let heaven remind you cause I told heaven about those. Thank you friend. Thanks for being a friend to me...a true one without condition.

Painful Break Up vs. Happy Break Up

I thought about this for some time. Why I felt no pain on my break up with my previous partner? there were no struggle, no regrets, just nothingness. In fact it was a happy break up. Months ago, I listened to my friend's story about her painful breakup with her boyfriend of 9 years. I knew the couple since from the start of their relationship. I wasn't expecting them to break up after all they've been through. I was expecting that they would get engage and get married. Infact, I was just waiting for their announcement because the last time we talked, she made a joke about them getting married soon. But that is not the story. This is about her pain and the processed she'd gone through compared to mine from my previous break-up. It was totally the opposite! As her friend, I can say I feel for her, I can relate somehow but only because I'm a woman too with emotions and had other other relationships before.
