A Distant Stranger - A Poem
This poem has a beautiful message for everyone who struggle to be someone else rather than be their selves. It's a relatable message to all of us who sometimes in our life got lost and confused while trying to find and pull out its self from this world. We have choices in life on how we want to live it.
Fighting to be noticed,
comes struggling through,
Making fun of himself,
Just to make them laugh.
A class clown,
begging to be found,
he charges forward,
and never looks back.
Realizing finally that,
life isn't the way he wants it,
The stranger decides to live,
without any more fear.
He adopts a new saying,
his new philosophy on life,
live life like you want it,
not the way that is wanted.
Willing to be heard,
is a worry no more,
because this future soldier,
will soon be known.
Not as an individual,
but that stranger,
that lonely class clown,
who gave his life to protect our rights.
The freedom to chose,
to live like we want,
to appose the norm,
and live life alive...
