Farewell Tiza Marie Pilarta-Robles

Lord thy will be done. I am only 2 days older than my friend who died yesterday after fighting for 3 days in ICU against her head injury which cause by a vehicular accident last Sunday in Bacolod City.
Tiza was really a great friend. Popular and loved by many. She was our Salutatorian back in elementary and that proves her to be bright as well. She was also active in school academics and cultural activities. She and her sister Claire Ann along with the other used to represent our school for dance competition.
Another great memory I have about her was when I rescued her form Brian. We were cleaners that time and Brian bullied her so I punch Brian and pushed him onto the blackboard and throw his bad outside the window. I also recall how happy Tiza and Claire when they finally had a little brother “toto”. We were in grade 4 those times.


Recalling before I transferred school from Jack & Jill to Don J. Amado Araneta Elementary School, I remember Tiza and Claire Ann in Central. I used to think they were really twins as what their grandfather told me. Those sisters were inseparable.
It’s really sad to realize that I will never see you on Earth again. I was really hoping to see you when I come back to Bacolod City. Your Loss made me realize so much how precious my old friends are especially those I’ve grown up with. You made me miss my elementary years and appreciate those good times I had with you all.
Tiza, the last thing you asked me was “when will I be coming back in Bacolod?” I was thinking that time to tell you this December of 2012. I regret of not telling you that. I was hoping to join you on our next reunion. You always unite our batch mates. I’m happy that you were like that. And the group page you’ve created in FB. You were the only admin in there. It’s the most precious thing you left for our batch. We will be missing you.

Painful Break Up vs. Happy Break Up

I thought about this for some time. Why I felt no pain on my break up with my previous partner? there were no struggle, no regrets, just nothingness. In fact it was a happy break up. Months ago, I listened to my friend's story about her painful breakup with her boyfriend of 9 years. I knew the couple since from the start of their relationship. I wasn't expecting them to break up after all they've been through. I was expecting that they would get engage and get married. Infact, I was just waiting for their announcement because the last time we talked, she made a joke about them getting married soon. But that is not the story. This is about her pain and the processed she'd gone through compared to mine from my previous break-up. It was totally the opposite!
